Thank you! Giveaway!

Today I reached 100 etsy sales! I'm so excited as this little screen printing venture is so much fun and this gives me the incentive to keep going!

I thought that this milestone should be marked with a giveaway to thank you all for your support over the past 2 months. I've piled together a stack of scraps and will post it to a randomly selected comment to this post... maybe on thursday afternoon... around 5pm melbourne time... how does that sound?

Just tell me what you could make with this small pile of randomly shaped offcuts!

Wow! How terribly exciting! I have been admiring your fabric from afar and thinking "one day I'll order some when I get my act together" but seriously, now I'm motivated!! So, what would I do with some of your gorgeous fabric scraps? I'd make a little patchworky curtain to hang in the window of the toilet in our new home in Adelaide. There's just a fixed louvre window about 50cm squared but nothing to cover it, and it needs something classy and quirky 'cos its a 30s style bungalow. And, lovely lady, I think that fabric of yours would lend our loo the touch of class it so desperately requires!!!

Love your fabric! Just found your blog recently. What would I make? Some improvisionaly pieced blocks (so I would cut the scraps up as little as possible) and put them in either a quilt or a wall hanging.

Congratulations!

I'd probably use them as applique decorations on tote bags.

So good for me to see an independent textile designer making things work. I just found you via Decor8. Loving your fabric, they feel very down under to me. But that could be just me! (I'm from NZ)

congratulations!! I'm not surprised you've made so many sales. Your work is beautiful, I love it's simplicity, and the textures of the fabric. Just lovely! :o)

What would I make if I won this lovely fabric?? I would try a cushion cover, a wall hanging, maybe cards or a softie... I don't know! It looks like the sort of fabric that would evolve into something itself!!

Adorable scraps! My sis would love these. I'm sure she'd use the individual images to patch on to a bag or onesie. They're adorable! Thank you so much for the chance!

Lovely fabrics and a generous giveaway. These scraps would probably make in onto apron pockets (I make lots of aprons for kids), onto little bags, and perhaps on some log cabin cusion covers I am planning to make. Who knows, but if I win I will be sure to document the use of each scrap!

I would make a wall hanging to hang in the entrance of our new house that we have just moved into. The colours would really liven up my neutral interior

I would make a scarf backed with a beautiful grey wool I have. Your fabrics would work beautifully with this grey wool. Congrats on getting a mention on Decor8. Well done!

i'd probably use the scraps in a future quilt. sort of quilt. dont know how to make a proper one. but what i tend to do is love the things i purchase so much that if possible, i keep a momento. like, i'll cut off a piece of large fabric and put it in a scrapbook. or rip off a page from an adorable notepad. or take a picture of the time if i can't have a piece of it. i've found that a long lasting and more practical solution (to fabrics anyway) is the use the scraps to make a quilt. so, that's what i would do if i won.

Oh, congrats! Well deserved and here's to many 100's more!
Little pieces cry out for little projects... like piecing them together to make nice sachets or an eye pillow. Or maybe a book cover... yes, that might be it.

I would love to win these... I'd probably add some to clothes for my daughter and to little bits and pieces I'm making (some bracelet cuffs and an ipod case?)

i would love to use your scraps as detail pieces on clothing mostly - pocket linings and facings, waist cuffs, cuffs, pockets, trims, etc.
oh, and on some little zip bags and a handbag/shoulder bag. oh, and on some dolls clothes and teddy's clothes. oh, and trim on a scarf end and facing.
[you can see the list really is endless!! :) ]
