Daisies in the blues

The red Daisies print has already sold out! I am going to get some more printed and thought while I was at it I would print it in another colourway as well. I was thinking an aqua would be nice, but I'm now looking at a range of blues and greens and can't decide... any suggestions/preferences?

All cocooned up

Last week kristen posted about the gorgeous cocoon shop in Launceston which stocks handmade goodies from a few people you might know! She's shown some gorgeous pics from the shop (including one of the lovely owner!) I've stolen one from her website but have a look at the rest here. While you're at it - admire kristen's cute as a whisker softie.
If you do live nearby and can visit cocoon you might see some of these bags made by Jennifer there too!

It's a little bit of old news, but some time ago some other designers mentioned that they had been working on some kids designs for sproutdesign. I remember reading about it and thinking that it sounded like a fun project. The new news is that sproutdesign has just posted about the project again and this time, there are two more designs! Danielle and I have since been asked to join in! Very exciting! Here are the nine designs by naomi, kristen, tiel, shannon, surface art, lara, biancadanielle and me!

Fixxed up

I was flattered to see an interview with me on the indiefixx website. They are a celebration of indie designers and goodness of the indie movement. There is so much there about so many creative people, so I'm thrilled to be included! Thanks Fina!

Out of the Forest

I'm back!! And to make a very short story of my adventures, I have a brand new shiny computer!

Happily, I can move on with a new print that I just love. The orchard is based on that gocco print I did a while back, but with 5 different trees, a cat, pears, apples, flowers and the lovely bird. I haven't had time to play with the fabric yet, but I have a few ideas of what I will do! You can have your own piece of it here!
This past week wasn't all bad, I did get a brand new nephew! He is very cute and has much more hair than my kids did on their first birthdays! I can't wait to fly up to Sydney to meet him!

sick sick sick

Some weird virus has hit my computer (on friday the 13th I've just realised...) So my email is out, my web access is down and I'm grumpy. I can still access the web through another computer but don't have any of my files etc... Anyway, if you have sent me an email - this is why I've not replied - hopefully we will all be sorted out by tomorrow.. fingers crossed!

You don't need this...

I've just realised that although I've mentioned it at the shop I have failed to mention on the tags that all the fabric has been prewashed and spun dry, which means - YOU DON'T NEED TO!
I thought it would be a better product if it was done before printing... It does cost a little more but I thought the fabric would be better for it in the end. Am I right?

Fabric packs

I just folded up and labelled a few half and full metre packs to go here. A very cool sewing lounge and clothing store. They even have school holiday courses for kids! I can't wait until mine are old enough to join in!

Birdie num num

I found this pattern for bird softies from spool via craftjuice and just had to make one myself! So easy - only takes two pieces and about 10 minutes!

I want to make more using my Waterhen fabric! I love the tummy with the nests on it. Have a look at the mobile they made! Stunning! I will need a few more...

And the winner is....

Do you know how hard it is to get 2 little kids to co-operate?? I can assure you it was a very random method used in the draw. Some numbers may have been swallowed in the process! But after lots of yelling and snatching, the winner is......
Number 31!! Rhiannon, could you email me with your details and I'll drop the package into the post!
I used my son's very technical bingo barrel and we kept getting numbers out until we got a number in our range. Very advanced method!
Thanks to everyone who entered! Lovely to hear from you all!

Thank you! Giveaway!

Today I reached 100 etsy sales! I'm so excited as this little screen printing venture is so much fun and this gives me the incentive to keep going!

I thought that this milestone should be marked with a giveaway to thank you all for your support over the past 2 months. I've piled together a stack of scraps and will post it to a randomly selected comment to this post... maybe on thursday afternoon... around 5pm melbourne time... how does that sound?

Just tell me what you could make with this small pile of randomly shaped offcuts!
