What a treat when I went to the mail box to find a little surprise package from the very talented Tara Badcock. If you went to Stitches and Craft Show you may have seen her wonderful Tea Cosy Revolution creations. Such a clever lady!
It's a pincushion with a "C" for Caitlin using a very familiar fabric on the back :)

We've escaped to the beach for the school holidays. I've been watching the rain coming in over the water, exploring rockpools and playing with felt. I made this necklace as a gift a little while ago and wasn't able to blog about it until now! I love the texture of the felt against the bright red grosgrain ribbon!
I'm enjoying plenty of relaxation and tea before I begin to get ready for a trip to Adelaide for the Bowerbird Bazaar. If you're in Adelaide for the weekend of the 9-11th October, please come and say hi!

Why does it rain just in time for school pick up? Today started so well with amazing clear blue skies and spring in the air. We spent the morning at the park, then came back and did some painting outside. Just a collection of pods. Not sure what I will do with them next...
