Your fabric is perfect for quilting though and I don't think you really have to follow a pattern, whatever pleases you is the rule right?

Looks gorgeous!!
I personally love slightly wonky quilts that put odd shapes of beautiful fabric to use. Maybe because I don't like to follow patterns or measure anything. Beautiful earth tones!
